Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is it bumpy?
A: Sometimes, especially in the summer. Also, winds and turbulence increase later in the day, which is why we only fly in the morning. It is worth it to wake up early and book the earliest flight available.
Q: Is the aircraft pressurized?
A: No, it is not. Typical cabin altitudes will be 8,000-10,000 but up to 12,500' if needed for turbulence. Oxygen is not provided nor allowed on board. However you may bring aboard a portable oxygen concentrator. Flying is not recommended if you get altitude sickness or haven't been acclimated to higher altitudes.
Q: Is it loud?
A: You will be wearing Bose noise-cancelling aviation headsets which eliminate most of the aircraft noise.
Q: Is the plane heated/air conditioned.
A: It is heated and comfortable in the winter. Although there is no air conditioning, it is comfortable in the summer since we are flying in the morning.
Q: What is the minimum passenger age?
A: The minimum age is 3 years old.
Q: Can I hold my child on my lap?
A: Because of the possibility of turbulence, we do not allow children to be held on an adult's lap. Each child must have their own seat and wear a properly-fitting seat belt. Seat cushions are available to help them better see out the windows.
Q: Are pets allowed?
A: No, sorry.
